The Rules

Each calendar is numbered and serves as your proof of purchase. San Luis Obispo County Farm Bureau (Farm Bureau) will randomly draw one calendar number on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. Winners will be contacted by phone or email following the drawing. The winning number will be announced the day of the drawing on the Farm Bureau Facebook page (facebook.com/SLOCountyFarmBureau), and notice of it will be emailed to each contestant who provides an email address. All winners will have their name published by Farm Bureau.
If Farm Bureau cannot contact the winner within 60 days of the drawing, Farm Bureau may draw a new winner for that prize. The winner of a prize involving a reservation (example: hunting trip) must contact the business within 60 days or the prize may become forfeit. Firearm prizes not acquired from dealer within 60 days may become forfeit. The winner of a firearm or other prize must pay to the firearm dealer or business all costs associated with registration, background check, or other fees. The winner of a firearm may select a different firearm of the same value from that firearm dealer, or use the value of the firearm toward the purchase of a firearm of higher value and pay the difference in cost. Farm Bureau pays the sales tax only for the original prize; if a different firearm is selected, the winner must pay sales tax. The winner of a firearm is responsible for understanding and complying with all laws pertaining to the purchase, transfer, possession or ownership of a firearm. The winner of a firearm must acquire it directly from the firearm dealer. Other prizes may also require pickup directly from the business; Farm Bureau is not obligated to deliver any prize to a winner. No information here is intended as legal advice or a restatement of law; consult a licensed attorney for legal advice.
Make all checks to purchase calendars payable to “SLO County Farm Bureau.” Contributions to Farm Bureau are not tax deductible as charitable contributions. San Luis Obispo County Farm Bureau is a nonprofit, Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)5 tax-exempt organization. Farm Bureau will sell 240 calendars for $120 each. Calendar sales are non-refundable. Each calendar number can be drawn only once, for one prize. Farm Bureau reserves the right to substitute a prize of the same retail value for any reason.
